FAQ

  • What Should I Expect During A Session?

Every breathwork session is unique! Some people experience deep relaxation and bliss, while others embark on a powerful journey through emotions, memories, and energy shifts. The breath has a way of giving you exactly what you need in each session. Whether that’s release, insight, or a profound sense of connection.

As you participate in more breathwork sessions, you’ll begin to peel back layers of stored stress and emotions, allowing you to live more fully in your body. Over time, this process helps you let go of what’s been held in your tissues and cells, creating space for more ease, clarity, and presence in your life. Each session is an opportunity to surrender, trust, and receive exactly what your body and spirit are ready for.

  • Is This Work As Powerful When Done Virtually?

Absolutely! Energy work transcends time and space, meaning that even in a virtual setting, we can still create a powerful and effective healing experience. The breathwork transmission remains just as deep, allowing you to receive exactly what you need, no matter where you are.

One of the unique benefits of virtual breathwork is the comfort of being in your own space. This can help you feel even more supported and open to the experience.

That said, breathwork is beautiful in all forms, virtual, in-person, and in groups, and each setting offers its own unique benefits. Exploring breathwork in different ways allows you to experience the practice from multiple perspectives and deepen your connection to it.

  • How often should I do a session?

Every person is different. Many people feel a shift after just one session, while others choose to return weekly or monthly to deepen the work over time. If you are moving through something specific such as grief, transition, burnout, or old patterns, you may find that a few sessions close together can support the process more fully.

If you have never done breathwork before, it can take a few sessions for your nervous system to feel safe enough to soften and release. That is completely normal. Starting with a few sessions helps create trust in your body and in the space we hold together.

There is no pressure to commit to anything long term. We can talk and find a rhythm that works for you. Your body will let you know when it is time to return, especially when old patterns begin to surface again.

  • Who Shouldn't Do Breathwork?

It is not appropriate for pregnant women, for persons with cardiovascular problems, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness, or epilepsy. If you have any doubt about whether you should participate, please consult with your primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician.

  • What Happens After A Session?

After a session, you might feel energized, relaxed, emotional, clear, quiet, or even a little tender. All of it is normal. Your body and nervous system have moved energy, released old patterns, and made space for something new.

Integration continues in the hours and days that follow. Drinking plenty of water, resting, spending time in nature, gentle movement, or journaling can all help your system settle and absorb the work. You may also notice insights or emotions rising in the days ahead. Trust what comes up.

You are not alone in this process. I am here for you if anything surfaces or if you need support after your session. This work goes deep, and it deserves care on the other side too.

  • Do I Need Experience With Breathwork?

Not at all. You do not need any experience to benefit from this work. Each session meets you where you are, whether it is your first time or not.

I guide you through everything, from how to breathe to how to stay present with whatever arises. Some people feel a lot in their first session, while others need time for their nervous system to feel safe enough to open. Both are valid.

This work is not about doing it right. It is about creating space for whatever is ready to move. Your body already knows how. I am here to support the process.
